COMBINING ARTS & CRAFTS DESIGN
WITH AN OLFACTORY EXPERIENCE

The inspiration for this collection stems from the works of Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857–1941), a pioneering figure in early 20th-century design, renowned for his wallpaper, textile and furniture designs and celebrated for his pivotal role in shaping the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Elegant and quietly expressive, Voysey's work demonstrated the designer's conviction that beauty and craftsmanship have lasting value; his patterns reflect the simplicity of the natural world, using the flowing stylized forms of animals, birds and flowers.

"Transposing patterns into scents was a fun experience.

For this collection, we carefully imagined garden-inspired fragrances which dialog with the art adorning the vessels."

Eirini Kalafatides, CEO

Each candle in the series not only pays homage to Voysey’s artistic legacy but also reflects the museum’s commitment to champion design and inspire makers and creators everywhere. Our collaboration with the V&A combines the timeless Arts and Crafts aesthetic with contemporary home décor, offering a unique way to experience art through evocative scents.
